We are all getting geared up for the new school year, with the big move-ups in every room, especially the "big" Starbursts that will be going to the Discovery School! We has a great orientation night at Discovery School for the new "Explorers", they are all so excited!
We want to thank the Explorer parents that helped us on the DS workday. We really spruced up the place.

We welcome Kelly Gavin to the Dew Drops, Heather Cesarez-Trevenio to the Hummingbirds, Lou Fowler to the Dancing Bears and Cody Bensch to the Starbursts. We will miss Bambi who will be staying home taking care of her niece and nephew, and Rocky who took a job with her church child care. We want to give a big cheer for Marcie Mendiola who just got her child development credential and also was promoted to Assistant Director!

Don't forget we have started a newsgroup.  It is just getting started but as more parents sign in, it should be a great resource.

The staff if looking forward to going to see our child care guru--Bev Bos. She is in San Antonio September 7th and almost all the staff will make the voyage. We are all very excited about her new seminar.
