Once every year we bring together all three CDC campuses for a special training. We bring in the best trainer we can afford to inspire and enhance our staff. The cost of this training can be anywhere between $1,500 to $8,000. This is one of the MANY trainings that CDC hosts or attends.
The field of early childhood education is constantly evolving. Educators reflect on their teaching strategies and the effect of their work and form new ideas about child development. At Children's Discovery Center we like to keep our staff ahead of the curve. Exploring new approaches brought to the world of education by progressive thinkers. Training is essential to having a staff that is both engaged and active in searching out best practices in the early childhood field.
This past year we booked the amazing Bev Bos. Bev has inspired so many aspects of our program and we are so excited to have brought her to our teachers for a personal experience. This was a unique training for any preschool in the Austin area. We appreciate all of the help and donations that brought her to our school!
